This Class is Designed to be Semi-Private Lessons ...
Note: This class is excellent preparation for tournament players who want more hands on learning with COACHES!!!

When: Every Thursday Night
6:30 - 8:30pm ......... NEW TIMES ... Each Class is Now 2 Hours!!!
Where: Northwest Community Church ... 14913 Hutchinson Rd. Tampa, 33625
Instruction Includes: Opening Principals .…….. Mid-Game Tactics & Strategies ……... End-Game Strategies ….. Common Checkmates & Matting Patterns …… Tournament Rules & Strategies …… and more!!!
Format:
1). 45 minutes game play with others in the class with coaches analyzing play or playing a coach
2). 10 minutes outside supervised break or free chess play with coaches
3). 60 minutes of instructional learning - Station Work
Students are placed in 1 of 4 small groups based on chess skill level: 1 coach to 3 - 4 students
Teaching Time .......... 3 (20-minutes) segments each week
- Station 1 ...... Opening Principles and Common Openings
= Station 2 ...... Middle Game Principals and Tactics Training
- Station 3 ...... Learning & Practicing End-Game Checkmating Patterns: Interactive
- Station 4 ...... Middle Game Teaching and Interactive play with a coach
Each week students do 3 stations, we rotate stations and coaches every week
NOTE: We mix up the schedule about every 4th class to keep it fresh for the students
