Can you Donate a Bag of Candy?
We will give some candy to your kids at this event. However, most to your donated candy will go to our "Hallowin" event which we host every year on Halloween night for any child who wants to participate.
What is "Hallowin"? For 23 years now, our family has provided a free and fun event on our driveway. Each Halloween night we set up lights and fun music and set up 6-8 carnival style games for the kids to participate in. At every station the kids will receive candy, if they win their game, they receive more candy. Therefore, we go through a lot of candy!!! We also offer free face-painting to the kids. For the parents we offer cooked hot dogs and cold-water bottles. We love giving to our community at our "Hallowin" Event. So many parents, through the years, have asked us why we do this and continue to do this event? Both Arthur and I always say, "We truly love kids and want to bless them with a fun, non-scary night". We believe Halloween is about the kids and not about the horror. We want to be a light in our community!
