This is our first time using Lee Academy for a tournament, It is a smaller school, but it has many rooms that we can use. Lee Academy has an excellent outdoor play area for the kids for between rounds.

All Players... Need a USCF Membership to Play in All Sections Students under age 13 the membership is $17.00 and good for a whole year of chess tournaments
This tournament is open to Adults and Students who want to play in the Open/Cash Division

This tournament is a quick rated tournament with 20 minute games for players under 900 rating points.
This tournament will not be offering a cash section or an adult section.
1) Rated Advance w/ratings 500-900 Play for top 5 trophies/medals
2) Rated Beginners/Intermediate unrated-500 Play for top 5 trophies/medals
3) Rated K-3rd Beginners w/ratings unrated-250 Play for top 5 trophies/medals

Each section that has 2 or more players from their school is also in the running for a "1st Place Top School" Trophy for that section to bring home to their school.

Parents: Very little seating is inside, most of the seating will be outside bring camp chairs you will be more comfortable... Beautiful outside area for your kids to run around between tournament games.
Also, if you need to cancel your registration and you gave us 24 hour notice, we will apply your registration money to the next tournament we offer.
